Welcome to Restaurant The Wine Cellar

The Wine Cellar is a popular and exclusive French restaurant in the Caribbean; the perfect place for a delicious lunch or a romantic dinner. Owned by Nico Cornelisse, a ‘Maitre Rotisseur' from Holland , it has been a renowned dining room in Curaçao for more than thirty years.

The kitchen combines authentic French cuisine with Caribbean flair, adding a personal signature. Watching over your health, the chefs always include the freshest herbs and the finest Virgin Olive Oil in their cooking. The menu features dishes like fresh Grouper and lobster, while the finest rack of Lamb from Holland is flown-in weekly. A choice of the world's most popular wines complements the exquisite cuisine. Finish your meal with a warm walnut- and cashew pie, Crepes Suzette or a light quesillo flan. Italian coffee is served with a selection of Dutch chocolates.

Apart from offering mouthwatering cuisine, Nico likes to involve his guests in the powerful spirit of art and has decorated the walls of his restaurant with impressive paintings. They are ingredients to improve our moods”, he says “…and it makes for a memorable and unhurried gastronomic evening!

The Chef frequently composes a (special) reasonably priced multi-course dinner to truly spoil you. Returning patrons are offered a good bargain, starting at $ 49. for a full course menu.
